A council has objected to a proposal to build an adult day service facility in South Oxhey
In its place, HCC would build a new centre on the site of the former Sir James Altham School site and former Homeoaks Group Home on land to the east of Lytham Avenue in South Oxhey.TRD said: “The development results in the loss of an allocated housing site within a district which does not have the homes required to meet the needs of its residents over the plan period.
A spokesperson for HCC said: “We will be contacting the Three Rivers District Council planning team to discuss their objection to the planning application.” The service is for adults with physical and learning disabilities, mental health problems and age-related conditions. We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues. The ability to comment on our stories is a privilege, not a right, however, and that privilege may be withdrawn if it is abused or misused.
