Corrie spoilers as Hope makes shock allegation against Beth as she takes revenge over murder and Daisy in stalker nightmare
Having received an email from Max’s solicitor, a worried David Platt tells mum Gail and his uncle Stephen Reid that they’re escalating his son's charge to Encouragement of Terrorism next week on Coronation Street. Max’s solicitor, Harriet, calls at number 8 nd tells David that in her view, Max was groomed by extremist Griff and was very much a victim.
Elsewhere, Nick Tilsley confesses to Leanne Battersby that Damon is Harvey’s brother and he’s using the bistro for drug deliveries. And troubled child Hope confides in Sam how she intends to have her revenge for Cilla the chinchilla's murder at the paws of Peanut the dog and needs his help. In the factory, Peanut's owner Beth Sutherland tells Hope's mum Fiz she’s sorry about Cilla, but at the end of the day, she was only a posh rat. Fiz is incensed and Carla Connor has to step in before a fight breaks out.
Later, Tyrone Dobbs catches Hope sneaking out of their backyard carrying David’s stuffed weasel, and it appears her game is up. Meanwhile, Beth confronts Hope and she returns home in tears saying Beth slapped her in the face. Fiz and Tyrone confront Beth over Hope’s allegation, and Beth denies she did anything of the sort.
