Corrie actor Chris Fountain emotional as he completes London Marathon after stroke
Coronation Street star Chris Fountain has proudly announced he completed the 2023 London Marathon after suffering a stroke in August last year.
He added: "I am beyond proud of myself. THANKYOU to everyone who cheered, donated, ran with me and everything else in between. I’m so, so happy. Will never forget this feeling." Former Corrie star Brooke Vincent left a series of heart emojis, while Gemma Atkinson commented a row of clapping emojis. Doctors discovered a blood clot lodged in his brain had caused a Transient Ischaemic Attack – known as a mini stroke.
