Jenny was shocked when Carla spilled Stephen’s big secret Jenny Connor has finally begun to see the real Stephen Reid in Coronation Street after a word of warning from step-daughter Carla Barlow . Carla recently discovered that Stephen had been responsible for drugging her with LSD, and she made no bones about confronting him over his vile actions. However, DS Swain later told her that it was imperative she kept her knowledge to herself, in order to help the police catch Stephen.
Horrified Jenny refused to believe it at first, though Carla had clearly set the cogs whirring in her brain as she pointed out that Stephen had deliberately kept Carla’s accusations a secret from her. Jenny threw a spanner in the works for Stephen Carla begged Jenny to rethink going to Thailand, stressing that she thought she was in serious danger, while Jenny was left reeling from the revelation.
