The evil killer was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on Monday and was handed a whole life order, which means she has no chance of parole.
An hour long documentary detailing the investigation into serial child killer Lucy Letby has been released by the police team who brought her to justice.
In the documentary, officers working on the case said their "minds blew" when they uncovered evidence inside Letby's home. Intelligence analyst Claire Hocknell added: “With this investigation, your subconscious is constantly searching for a reason for it not to be her. “ Det Supt Simon Blackwell added: “The ramifications of saying publicly ‘we have a child serial killer’ was not something you want to get wrong.”

Det Chief Insp Nicola Evans said: “It felt like a relief that the trial had actually started but also there was just a lot of anticipation as to how it would unfold and also nervousness around assuring that we could properly support the families who were going to listen to some really upsetting and devastating evidence."
