Houston police officer shoots man after fight at Houston Walmart
An off-duty police officer working security at a Houston Walmart shot a man following a foot chase while trying to make an arrest for an assault Sunday night, authorities said.
The officer who shot him has not been identified, but he was a seven-year HPD veteran working a civilian security shift, Jones said.
