CONCERNS are growing for an 85-year-old man who has been missing since Thursday.
Norman Stewart was last seen in the Martin’s Bridge area of Hawick in the Scottish Borders around 10.30am on Friday September 22.Norman is described as being 5ft 8ins, of medium to large build with short dark grey hair, a stubble bear and a moustache.He usually wears glasses, has a Borders accent and often walks with a stick.
Sergeant Gavin Liddle said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Norman’s welfare and his family is understandably worried about him. “We have significant resources dedicated to finding Norman and I would urge anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to contact us immediately. “Please check private CCTV, dash cam and doorbell footage from the Hawick area and contact us if you have anything relevant.”
Anyone who is able to help is being urged to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 3708 of Friday September 22.
