Día de Los Muertos display The Bonita Museum and Cultural Center will have community ofrendas and large-scale papier-mâché for Día de los Muertos on display through Nov. 11 at the museum, 4355 Bonita Road. Visit bonitahistoricalsociety.org. Archaeology Day at state park An Archaeology Day is slated for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov.

Día de Muertos celebration Barrio Logan holds Día de Muertos Espiritu de Xochimilco from noon to 7 p.m. Oct. 29 near Logan Avenue and National Avenue. Highlights include ballet folklorico dancers, a mariachi band, traditional ceremonies, altars and a Catrina contest along with Mexican foods, local vendors, lowriders with contest, and kids activities. The opening ceremony is from noon to 12:45 p.m. Visit allforlogan.
