Some pieces of art are priceless to those who treasure them.

It’s not an original. It is a print, probably from the gift shop at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, where the original Fragment de Corps de Femme is on display. There are all sorts of Picasso prints online that can be purchased for a few bucks. But only this one was found in my parents’ garage, next to the dinner service for 32, a rotary phone once used at Fort Sam Houston and all sorts of other historical treasures mom collected over the years. Only this one made my mom so red-faced that she ordered me to throw it in the garbage. It might not have been an original work of art worth real money, but it gave my family a good laugh.mariaanglinwrites@gmail.
