Robert Sagle, Nicholas Konves, Elrico Alli and Timothy Myers have been named deputy chiefs with the Columbus Division of Police.
Columbus police will have four new deputy chiefs next month, replacing more than 100 years of institutional knowledge thatChief Elaine Bryant has announced that the four deputy chief appointees will begin their new duties in February.Robert Sagle, 44, has been a member of the Division of Police since 2000, working in patrol and the special operations subdivision, which he will now lead.
Elrico Alli, 47, became a Columbus police officer in 2003. He has worked in patrol, research and development assignments and internal affairs. He has also been heavily involved in the Teen and Police Service Center program, which aims to connect teenagers with police in a positive way. Alli will oversee the patrol north subdivision.
The four new deputy chiefs will join the two other deputy chiefs: Kelly Weiner, who oversees the support services subdivision, and Smith Weir, who oversees the investigations subdivision.
