If passed, the district is also planning on using the money to improve athletic stadiums, upgrade classrooms, playgrounds and cafeterias. But, we asked Chapman: what happens if the levy doesn’t pass?Groveport-Madison’s levy is for about $6 million — money that treasurer Adam Collier said would help pay for 83% of the staff, from teachers to custodians.
They said if the levy doesn’t pass, staff cuts will be made but the details have not yet been laid out.Dublin City Schools' levy is for a little under $8 million. The district plans to use the money for improvements to schools, expansion of preschools and to build a new elementary school.
