A Colorado Springs bank robbery suspect was feeling the Christmas spirit Monday afternoon.
David Oliver, 65, was arrested after robbing the Academy Bank while claiming he had a weapon and leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash, according toWitnesses say that before he was arrested, Oliver walked outside and began throwing the stolen money into the air yelling “Merry Christmas,”Bystander Dion Pascale told the television station that people scooped up the money and gave it back to the bank teller.
