Breaking: Collin DA Greg Willis calls sexual harassment allegations ‘defamatory and outrageous’

The office’s chief and deputy chief investigators, as well three former employees and a current prosecutor, lodged the accusations against the county’s two highest-ranking prosecutors, County Judge Chris Hill and commissioners Darrell Hale, Susan Fletcher, Cheryl Williams and Duncan Webb. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
“Efforts by Mr. Willis to characterize those acknowledgments as proof of his innocence are consistent with the allegations that he remains consumed with trying to cover his tracks in the event he’s exposed,” the statement said. In an audio recording of the exit interview, a woman Willis said is LaFleur can be heard saying, “Can I give you a hug?” and, “You are so wonderful! Thank you so much! And I will see you around.” Willis described her tone during this interaction as “animated” and cheerful.
The lawsuit accuses Willis of treating “many female employees as objects that, without their consent, must gratify his sexual impulses and personal vanity, while … Wirskye runs the office as a crass, misogynistic fraternity complete with systemic hazing of the County’s attorneys, investigators and staff.”Willis displayed the nine enlarged notes on white poster boards propped on easels he said two of the plaintiffs sent him.
A note from Le, a prosecutor who still worked for the DA as of the lawsuit’s filing, said, “Thank you for being wonderful and such a patient boss and mentor.”
