College Park coach Clifton McNeely said after the Klein Cain game that coming back to Grand Oaks' gymnasium really wasn’t worth dwelling on as the Cavaliers will play the Grizzlies again in January, and maybe even potentially later in this tournament that they are hosting for the second time.In the morning session, the Cavaliers performed well against a quality team.Junior Martez James had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds in the win over Klein Oak.
College Park led 37-32 at halftime before Klein Cain briefly regained the lead once in the third quarter with 55 seconds to play and then a tie at 59-all with 4:39 left in the game. After a scoreless first quarter, James netted all 22 of his team-high in points in the final three quarters.
