College Park’s Orlando Balderas and Oak Ridge’s Conner Bennett were dealing back-and-forth.
“It’s funny because JJ came up and said we had to put a rain plan together,” Faherty said. “He said we’ve got rain coming in at 5. I said I had a feeling we didn’t need that. This was going to be a pitcher’s duel. Sure enough it ended up being that way.”
