Alberto Costa says there is a 'grave national concern' about the double child killer's case

The next parole hearing for double child killer Colin Pitchfork should be heard in public, according to an MP.

Pitchfork was jailed in 1988 for raping and murdering 15-year-olds Lynda Mann and Dawn Ashworth in Leicestershire.after he was seen approaching young women. South Leicestershire MP Alberto Costa said given the "grave national concern" people should be informed about how the Parole Board reaches their decision.Dawn Ashworth and Lynda Mann were raped and murdered by Pitchforkformer justice secretary Robert Buckland challenged the decisionAfter he was freed, he is understood to have approached women on multiple occasions while out on walks from the bail hostel where he was living.
