Miley Cyrus Just Confirmed Her New Romance With Cody Simpson With an EPIC Clap Back
singer has responded to critics who say she's moving on too quickly from her relationship with soon-to-be ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
In a lengthy message posted to social media, Cyrus made it very clear that she's a grown woman now and can and will date whomever she wants. “I know the public feels invested in my past relationship because they felt like they saw it thru from the beginning,” Cyrus began her post, seemingly referencing her marriage to the actor, which. “I think that’s why people have always felt so entitled over my life and how I live it because they’ve watched me grow up.”
She continued, “But I am grown now and make choices as an adult knowing the truth/details/reality. People only ‘know’ what they see on the internet.” The 26-year-old pop star went on to say she there shouldn't be a double standard when it comes to how men and women date. In fact, she doesn't believe she should be expected to stay quiet following her break up."They move on from one beautiful young woman to the next MOST times without consequence," she explained. "They are usually referred to as ‘legends,’ ‘heartthrobs,’ ‘G,’ ‘Ladies Man,’ etc….
