Local officials, businesses and Realtors attend the grand opening of Palm Bay Galveston, a build to rent community by Wan Bridge.Houston-based Wan Bridge unveiled its first seaside community of build to rent houses at Palm Bay Galveston, bringing a new rental option to students, families and tourists on the island 50 miles south of Houston.
A model home is on display and initial homes are available for lease in the community of three-story townhomes painted in breezy pastels. The project, which offers three and four bedroom townhomes in the 4500 block of Stewart Road, has rents from $2,750 to $3,275, with maintenance and yard work included.
“Our mission to provide attainable luxury living options has reached the coast,” Ting Qiao, CEO of Wan Bridge said in an announcement. “We selected Galveston for the highly desired seaside lifestyle it offers residents, but also because of the wonderful community here on the island. Palm Bay Galveston’s proximity to Houston also makes it an attractive option for residents looking to live on island time, and we look forward to them calling it home.
The company held a grand opening last week attended by local officials and businesses, the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce and Realtors. “Our residents, college students, people visiting the medical center and families relocating for a few years, get to experience the island style living right on the bay and just a short trip to the beach," said Galveston City Councilwoman Marie Robb."I am so excited to have this community as part of Galveston and as part of District 6.”
