Brian Kolfage was sentenced Wednesday for defrauding donors to the We Build the Wall effort.
First responders are on scene of another potential mass casualty human smuggling incident in Knippa, Texas, near the southern border. Kolfage, Badolato and Shea were not pardoned by Trump, leaving them to face the prospect of years in prison. The four defendants then took steps to funnel the money to themselves for personal gain, prosecutors said.
Bannon was accused of taking more than $1 million through a separate nonprofit, then secretly paying some of it back to Kolfage.As part of a plea deal, Kolfage and Badolato agreed not to challenge a sentence within the agreed-upon range: between four to five years for Kolfage and 3 1/2 to four years for Badolato.
