Victor Wembanyama, the young French sensation, will make his first appearance in L.A. on Sunday against the Clippers, bringing with him all the hype and excitement he has generated since entering basketball’s consciousness.
Fans tuned in to watch the impressive teen start slowly in his first two games but finish well in both games with strong stat lines. Against Dallas, he encountered foul trouble but finished with 15 points, on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from 3-point range, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
He also had 12 rebounds, three blocks and three steals, showing off his skills on both ends of the court, making any game he plays must-see TV. “Some of the stuff he doin’, dawg, I mean he threw it to the wing, called for the lob at the 3-point line, knowing nobody else can go get that dunked it.”
