Hundreds of people walked through the city for the 16th annual 'Walk with Willow'.
People participating at the 16th annual "Walk With Willow" on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 The Willow Center"Today is all about raising awareness and money to support our lifesaving services and programs at Willow Center," said Willow Center Vice President of Community Engagement, Nicole Morelle. "We are hoping that everyone who comes and joins us today is ready to tell their story and support survivors along their journey to a safe and empowered life.
Willow Center is looking to raise $50,000, which they say is the average number of 911 calls placed in Rochester every year related to domestic violence emergencies. If you, or anyone you know, is experiencing domestic violence, call or text the Willow Hotline at 222-SAFE.
