Christina Aguilera wows as she closes out Expo 2020 with powerful performance in Dubai
The pandemic-delayed Expo 2020 in the United Arab Emirates closed on Thursday after eight years of anticipation, over $7 billion in investment, 240 million hours of labor and six months of festivities.
'It’s something that I wanted to do for a very long time, but to be honest, I really wanted to wait for the right moment,' she told'When everything slowed down within the last couple of years, I was able to really pause and come back to my priorities and what I’ve been wanting to do.' Her time with her fellow musicians in the studio allowed her to 'finally dive in the way I wanted to, 'cause I wasn’t just gonna do it and receive songs and be done. I really fell in love with music all over again.'
