A four-year-old child was killed between these two mobile homes Wednesday morning by a dog that, according to neighbors, lived at the mobile home on the right, Feb. 23, 2022, at the Bramor Subdivision Mobile Home Park in Baytown.Child Protective Services is investigating the death Wednesday morning of a 4-year-old boy in Baytown who authorities say was attacked by dogs.
A Texas Department of Family and Protective Services media specialist confirmed Thursday that CPS is investigating his death “alongside law enforcement,” adding that “specific details of the investigation are confidential according to law.”The boy — who authorities have not yet identified publicly — was injured in a dog attack around 7:40 a.m. that day in the 2700 block of Massey Tompkins in Baytown, where the Bramor Subdivision mobile home community is located.
Police have said a resident of the home where the child was staying tried to intervene and was injured. An update on their status was not available Thursday.Ana Fernandez, a public information coordinator with Baytown police, said Thursday she was not able to disclose whether anyone has been charged in the incident.
