Steve McMichael’s close friend said Tuesday the Chicago Bears legend's health continues to improve and that he is being released from the hospital.
The Chicago football icon, known as ‘Mongo,’ waslast week with sepsis and pneumonia amid his ongoing battle with ALS.
"He’s as feisty as ever. Our Mongo is back! Please keep the prayers coming," said Misty McMichael from her husband’s bedside.Fans of Bears legend Steve McMichael showed up to a suburban hospital to send love and support.– or ALS – a progressive nervous system disease.
