Daredevil actor Charlie Cox comments on rumors that his hero will have a cameo in Deadpool 3. After two successful solo outings, Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth is officially slated to join the MCU with Deadpool 3, which is scheduled to be released in late 2024. The film will be directed by Shawn Levy, who has also worked with Reynolds on films like The Adam Project and Free Guy, and is expected to be the MCU's first R-rated movie.

In a recent interview with TechRadar, the actor confirms that, no, Daredevil will not be appearing in Deadpool 3, with his previous comment representing only some fun speculation.
"Oh god, what did I say again? Oh yeah, I said that in Germany, didn't I? I can tell you now, I'm definitely not in Deadpool 3. If it ends up being true, I've inadvertently spoiled something. If it isn't, fans who are excited about something I say will end up being disappointed.
Whether Daredevil and Deadpool could team up in the future may actually become more clear when additional details are released about Daredevil: Born Again, the upcoming Disney+ reboot show for Cox's hero. If the show is rated TV-MA, which is what his Netflix show was rated, then a crossover with Deadpool becomes a much more likely possibility.
Even if Cox's upcoming reboot show doesn't get a TV-MA rating, it's still possible that he and Reynolds will collaborate at some point in the franchise's future. For team-up films or shows down the line, the decision could be made to write Deadpool in a more family-friendly manner, which could open up the door to a run-in with Daredevil.
