Spain offers to receive the stranded Open Arms migrant charity vessel after Italy refuses to let it dock on the shores of its Sicilian island Lampedusa
The Open Arms charity boat which is currently in limbo off the coast of Italian island of Lampedusa said it does not accept Spain as a port to go because it is in a state of"extreme humanitarian emergency."
The migrants, most of whom are African, were picked up by the Open Arms boat off the coast of Libya and have been waiting to disembark on the southern Italian island of Lampedusa. Earlier, Spain's government offered to take in the charity vessel because of Italy's "inconceivable" refusal to allow it to dock.
The Open Arms organisation said Madrid had taken the decision because of the "untenable" situation for the 105 migrants still aboard, including two children.

Pitchers are having Tommy John surgery earlier and earlier these days, so we really can’t stress the value of doing this little exercise called ‘striking someone out.’” Jayanthi urged players who were really worried about the threat of injury to just quit because they’re clearly not cut out for the sport.
