NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Chargers worked overtime Sunday only to see Nick Folk kick a 41-yard field goal with 5:02 left in the extra period to give the Tennessee Titans a 27-24 victory. The Chargers remained winless after last week’s season-opening loss to the Miami Dolphins.
The Chargers trailed 17-14 going into the fourth quarter, having squandered an 11-0 lead that featured an 8-yard touchdown pass from a scrambling Justin Herbert to Keenan Allen and a two-point conversion pass to offensive lineman Trey Pipkins III. The two-point conversion was set up by a roughing the passer penalty.
