Fraser Wilson manned the phone and it was certainly a busy one after the shock result in Ayrshire.
It might seem a little early for trouble in paradise but Celtic crashing out of the Viaplay Cup to Kilmarnock has certainly caused problems for Brendan Rodgers.
Sean Crossey, Belfast, said: “Without sounding like the stereotypical fickle fan, I maintained that Rodgers was a terribly negative appointment. Embarrassingly unambitious. Why not try something new and let someone else with the right credentials take their chance. That board including Dermot Desmond are a bunch of amateurs. Ange was obviously a fluke. This stinks of Lennon II.”
Meanwhile, James Robertson called in all the way from Alabama, US, to give his own take on the upset. He said: “I watched Kilmarnock take it to Celtic, they were the better ball club. We are not the same ball club as last season. I make no excuses for injuries, because it’s the next man up. I tip my cap to Kilmarnock, they deserved the win.”
Predictably, some were keen to take the shine off Killie’s supershow by blaming their plastic surface - with even Rodgers claiming it was the only reason Rugby Park is such a difficult venue. Bill Lockerbie, Northampton, said: “Is it now time, having sat through Sunday's debacle, that supporters of all clubs in Scotland, unite to force the authorities to rid our league from a playing surface suitable only for minor football.
