Celtic women can claim a first-ever title with victory over Hibs this afternoon but Rangers won't go quietly.
Celtic's destiny is without doubt in their own hands, but they face a tricky challenge in Hibernian, who have traditionally been a strong challenger in the Scottish women's game. It's been a disappointing season this time around for the Leith ladies though, finishing behind their Edinburgh rivals Hearts in fifth but they have given the Hoops a game in their previous meetings despite Celtic winning all three contests this season.
A 4-2 win at Meadowbank Stadium early in the season saw Celtic race into a three-goal lead thanks to an Amy Gallacher double and Colette Cavanagh finish, before Hibs pulled two goals back in the final moments of the first half, before Gallacher went on to complete her hat-trick in the 71st minute to secure the points.
