Indian festival Indika returns to Liverpool for the first time since 2018.
A 12 day celebration of Indian music, dance and culture is taking place across Liverpool and Merseyside.

So many times I’ve played and I never get bored and they never get bored, as Liverpool has great audiences.
He added: "Liverpool is very musical. When I play in Liverpool people appreciate it, they really love music here. Kousic works with groups that range from five-years-old to 18 and also groups that are 18 plus. He teaches at Notre Dame Catholic College in Everton where the young people learn classical Indian dance and the Tabla .
CEO and artistic director of Milap, Alok Nayak said: "It promises to be an experience like no other, and we want it to be an open, welcoming festival for everyone. The programme is more ambitious than ever, with a series of events across the Liverpool City Region that everyone can enjoy, leading up to a core event programme in the Liverpool City Centre.
