The terrifying ordeal happened in Preston city centre in the early hours
Detectives investigating a kidnapping in Preston city centre have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to.
Officers said the incident happened in Church Street and resulted in the victim being 'forced to go to several addresses'. He was also assaulted and 'had his bike stolen' during the terrifying ordeal. The incident dates back to the early hours of Tuesday, August 8, but investigations into the offences are continuing. Officers have today released a CCTV still of a man they are looking to identify as part of their enquiries.In a statement, Preston Police said: "Do you recognise this man? We are looking to identify him as part of our enquiries into a kidnapping which happened in Preston city centre in the early hours of August 8.
"A teenager was kidnapped in Church Street, forced to go to several addresses and was assaulted. He had his bike stolen. "If you recognise the person in the picture, have any information about the incident or witnessed it, please call 101 – quoting log 1076 of August 8, 2023 – or email [email protected]. Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 anonymously."
