The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is reminding residents of its $5 roundtrip fare to downtown Cleveland for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade as a way to save hassle and green.

Rather than jockey for parking among the thousands of people expected to converge on downtown for the parade’s reintroduction after a two-year hiatus, RTA is encouraging residents to consider public transportation: $5 cash roundtrip tickets are available at the Brookpark, Puritas, Triskett, W. 117 and Tower City rail stations.
$2.50 one-way or $5 all-day passes can also be purchased electronically at stations or using the mobile app.Riders can also consider taking the HealthLine bus that runs from East Cleveland to Public Square.
