The fortuitous feline, a ragdoll moggy breed, was presumed dead from the March 13 blast — which killed a 68-year-old Wales man — but was miraculouslyTeddy’s owner Claire Griffiths-Bennett, 49, and her son Ethan, 14, were rushed to a hospital after the blast, with Griffiths-Bennett noting the cat was sitting next to her at the time — and she feared the worst.Their other cat, Fern, and a puppy also have been rescued and accounted for.
However, police and rescuers worked “tirelessly to try to catch” the cat, despite the “dangerous condition” that resulted from the blast.
