If James Gunn casts the MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy actors in his upcoming DC Universe movies, there are certain DC characters that would fit them perfectly. The birth of James Gunn and Peter Safran's DC Universe makes it possible to see new talent take over iconic DC characters, but it also provides the opportunity to see A-list actors and MCU alums join the franchise in unexpected roles.
Therefore, Chris Pratt's DC Universe role could be Thomas Blake, a.k.a. Catman, who could easily pass as a Batman parody but is actually far from being a gimmick character. Catman is an anti-hero who tries to put his life in order after a personal crisis.
Dave Bautista As Hugo Strange Dave Bautista has made it quite clear that he's done with Drax in the MCU, and there's one DC character that seems tailor-made for the wrestler-turned-movie-superstar: Bane. Bautista's physicality and background as a real wrestler would help him portray a comic-accurate version of "the man who broke the Bat".
