Barbara Bain, 56, made the vile remark towards George Gray at Glasgow’s Eastbank care home.Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that the procedure causes Mr Gray “great distress.”“He continued to kick out before Bain said ‘don’t kick me or I will kick you’.”The witness escorted Mr Gray from the room and reported the incident to their manager.Bain, of the city’s Parkhead, pleaded guilty on Friday to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Bob McDowall, defending, told the court that Bain is a first offender and lost her job following the incident.The lawyer added: “Mr Gray lashed out and kicked my client around 10 to 12 times.“It was one stupid remark which came to nothing and Mr Gray was completely unharmed.”He told her: “You have already suffered personally as a result of your conduct.“You no doubt understand that this is unacceptable notwithstanding you were working in a difficult position.
