Jenna Bennett, who recently moved from Canada to London, set about on her first UK pub trip to Wetherspoons
A Canadian, who recently moved to the UK, documented her first ever trip to a British pub - opting for Wetherspoons. Jenna Bennett, along with her mate Mike, to a trip to their local Spoons pub and shared it with fans on TikTok.
“This looks like a restaurant,” she said clearly confused. “The pubs at home, they come and serve you.” She was also startled by being able to just walk in and sit yourself down. “In Canada, you could not do that, like you’d have to wait to be seated” she said. Leaving the pub, Jenna said: “Honestly guys, my first pub experience was a ten out of ten. Don’t get me wrong, the aesthetic isn’t the best, it’s a little bit cold in there. But I feel like that’s not the point of a pub.”
