Anthony Ralston, Liel Abada, Kyogo Furuhashi, Callum McGregor, Daizen Maeda and Stephen Welsh have all signed on to new deals with the Scottish champions in recent months. Carter-Vickers joined the Hoops on a permanent deal from Tottenham last summer after an incredibly successful loan spell in Glasgow and has firmly cemented himself as first choice at centre-back when fully fit.
The 25-year-old’s current contract is due to expire in 2026 but fans will be hoping to keep hold of the star defender for as long as possible.Hutton praised the Hoops for tying down their top assets and suggested the centre-back could be next.They have done really well tying down their main players and the likes of Carter-Vickers could be next.
