Descendants 3 premieres Friday at 8 p.m. ET on the Disney Channel.
The late Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce appears in , Boyce and his co-stars Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart and Sofia Carson are all featured in rehearsals, filming and hanging out on set.
“Even though it might be a wrap on the movie, you know, we’ll always be Evie, Jay, Mal and Carlos, [they’ll] always be in our hearts,” Carson says, as she, Stewart, Cameron and Boyce are seen cheering “D3!” and coming in for a group hug. Boyce tragically died at the beginning of July after suffering a seizure in his sleep. In wake of the news, Disney Channel announced that it's canceling the red carpet premiere event scheduled for the film. premieres Friday at 8 p.m. ET on the Disney Channel. The broadcast is dedicated to Boyce. Watch the behind-the-scenes clip below.
