A California woman bought a mini potbelly pig named Merlin. The pet pig enjoys Starbucks ice, going on walks and even sleeps next to his owner in her bed.
"I was crying tears of happiness because my lifelong dream to own a pig was finally happening," she said. Mina Alali, 25, bought mini-pig Merlin when he was just two-and-a-half months old, according to SWNS. Alali has trained her pig to "speak" to her by pressing electronic buttons that say "outside," "eat" and "ice."
Alali said that training Merlin to be calm was a challenge at first — noting that she had to teach him not to scream when someone picked him up, as SWNS reported.Merlin is very open to human affection and cuddling, said Alali — even when it comes to sleeping. Alali takes Merlin for walks and even takes him to dinner with her friends, SWNS reported.
