And finally, on Sunday, July 17, CBP officers found more than 72 pounds of fentanyl and nearly 190 pounds of methamphetamine using the port’s imaging machine. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid behind a massive spike in overdose deaths across the U.S. in recent years.
