Ohio State tight end Cade Stover is one of 20 semifinalists for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year award, which recognizes a player for leadership on and off the field.
for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year award, which honors players who have “demonstrated a record of leadership by exhibiting exceptional courage, integrity and sportsmanship both on and off the field.”
Stover, who is in his second year as a captain for the Buckeyes, was selected as a semifinalist in recognition of his leadership and work ethic on the field, as well as his efforts to give back to the community. Stover’s biography in the award semifinalist news release made specific note of Stover preparing meals for the MidOhio Food Bank and visiting schools to read to children.
