It is estimated that 551,000 families in the East Midlands will be eligible for means-tested Cost of Living Payment with a further 451,000 in the region eligible for the £150 disability Cost of Living payment in the Autumn. Details of who will get the support have been published by the UK Government.
Just who will be getting the payment has been broken down into constituencies. It appears that Nottingham North has the largest number of eligible families for the Cost of Living payment, with Nottingham East and Mansfield coming up behind. The breakdown of the areas is detailed below. When will it land in bank accounts The first instalment will automatically go into eligible household bank accounts between now and the end of the month . The second payment will go out from the autumn. Payments from HMRC for those on tax credits only will follow shortly after each to avoid duplicate payments
