Ever wondered what it’s like to work in publishing? Come intern for BUST and experience the publishing world first hand. As an editorial intern at BUST, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and insight that’ll help you along the road to a career in journalism. We ask that interns commit to at least 3 weekdays for 3 months or 2 weekdays for 4 months .
You’ll be asked to proofread and fact check stories for the print magazine, and you’ll learn plenty about self-guided research. You’ll be a master at this by the time you leave us . You’ll transcribe interviews, and in the process, learn more about the work of an interviewer and how they create and frame questions. There may also be some opportunities to do interviews for the blog, so you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to research a subject and conduct an interview.You'll have the chance to work with and learn more about promotion via social channels
