“Hey you two. You need to go home right now,” the driver said in surveillance video from the bus. “C’mon, c’mon inside.”
The driver, Jamie Grabowski, spotted the dogs running in and out of the street around midnight Dec. 18 after she finished her shift and was driving the bus back to a Milwaukee County Transit System garage.
“Hey, you two. You need to go home right now,” Grabowski said in surveillance video from the bus. “C’mon, c’mon inside.” The dogs, tails wagging, obeyed and ran inside the bus. She contacted dispatch and played with the dogs until a police officer came to take the dogs to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission.
Animal control said the dogs were a pit bull and Doberman pinscher; both were about 2 and in good health. They were both"sweet and playful," too.
