The collection marries bumble's signature bee motif with Over the Moon’s romantic sensibilities
A funny thing about working at Bumble, according to chief brand officer Selby Drummond: the companyreceives wedding invitations from all over the world. “Couples are grateful to have been brought together by the app,” she explains. And that got them to thinking: while Bumble, as an entity, doesn’t exactly have the ability to attend a reception, perhaps they could still help people mark the milestone in some way., the e-commerce platform and online registry, which launches July 6.
To launch the line, Drummond and Over The Moon founder Alexandra Macon hosted a breakfast in the garden of the Waverly Inn. Greeting guests was a flower wall of yellow roses, along with trays of creamy iced coffee and avocado toast. In attendance? Augusta Cole, who masterminded and executed the dreamy aesthetic of the morning, Hill House Home founder Nell Diamond, as well as designers Danielle Frankel and Patricia Voto.
