Light beer is the new front in the never ending culture wars.

On this week’s episode of “Stuff Republicans Made Up To Be Mad At” we have, hold on let me check my notes…Bud Light! Yes, for some reason the far right has decided they are furious with the venerable American light beer brand for partnering with a Trans actress, comedian and Tik Tok star Dylan Mulvaney.
What exactly they’re mad at will forever remain a mystery but I’d bet the words “indoctrination” and “grooming” are somewhere in whatever word salad they use to explain the issue they just conjured out of thin air. While the right-wing screams at the sky there have been more than 150 mass shootings, more than a few in schools, this year alone.
Instead of doing anything useful, there is a subset of the Republican Party that has decided its time is best spent fabricating culture wars and striking back at the offending party in the most performative way possible. Hence, videos have popped up online of folks with nothing better to do than destroy Bud Light with all manner of ordinances. Assault rifles, pistols, and my favorite, a bulldozer.
