Size apparently plays an outsized role in the rankings, and the smaller the better. In fact, four of the five smallest national parks made it into the top 10. Gateway Arch is the smallest of the 63 national parks, encompassing just 90.9 acres. Also on the list is Arkansas’s Hot Springs , American Samoa and Indiana Dunes .
