The Browns leave no stone unturned in their quest to improve the team, and checking on the status of a receiver of Beckham’s caliber aligns with their philosophy. He also fits the profile of a speedy, twitchy wideout to round out their corps.
In his place is Deshaun Watson, whom many veteran receivers want to play with, sources tell cleveland.com. Among them are Arizona’s DeAndre Hopkins and Houston’s Brandin Cooks, both of whom could be had in a trade. Of the two, the Browns are more likely to deal for Cooks, although they’d ideally like to find a younger wideout.
Other teams to attend the session were the Ravens, Vikings, Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, Cardinals, Rams, Patriots, Giants, Panthers and Jets.
