The timeless Brooks England B17 Special Saddle has been laser-etched with the illustration of American Artist Jeremy Collins, resulting in a Limited Edition Special Saddle inspired by a ride through the Italian Dolomites.
Brooks England has taken the long-standing B17 Special Saddle, with its durable vegetable tanned leather top with a propensity to mould over time to the unique shape of its rider, and handed it as a fresh canvas to Jeremy Collins.
Indeed, the Brooks B17 Special Limited Edition Saddle, has been laser-etched to depict the fat, meandering body of a snake, slithering through the undergrowth. The word “subito” is etched into the rearmost edge of the saddle, Italian for “immediately”, “at once” or “right away”. The intricate details sit in contrast to the hand-hammered copper rivets and the iconic Brooks backplate.
Like the B17 Special Saddle from Brooks England, this artist-series edition piece was crafted in its UK Factory to exacting standards. It features the very same cool features: hand-skived lower flaps and chromed rails. The Brooks B17 Special Saddle with the Jeremy Collins illustration has the following dimensions: L 275 x W 175 x H 65. It is designed for an angled seated position of around 60°. Brooks say the B17 saddle is ideal for riding in the city, gravel riding, bikepacking and road riding.
