The damage comes about a week after gusty winds broke windows at a high-rise located less than a half-mile away.
Gusty winds caused broken glass to fall from yet another San Francisco high-rise building on Tuesday afternoon.
District 3 Supervisor Aaron Peskin announced about 3:10 p.m. that broken window glass had fallen from 50 California St. in the Financial District amid gusty winds and persistent rains, prompting authorities to divert traffic away from the area. 🚨High winds have led to more shards of falling window glass from another building at 50 California. Problem intersection at Sacramento and Davis means traffic is being diverted.
The report comes about a week after high winds caused damage to at least two window panes at the former Bank of America Center, which is located less than a half-mile from 50 California St.
